In 2009 Wildcard produced the short film ROAR with Russell Tovey (THE HISTORY BOYS), Jodie Whittaker(VENUS) and Tom Burke (TELSTAR) directed by Adam Wimpenny.

‘ROAR’ has since won ‘Best of Fest’ and the ‘Grand Prize’ for Best Screenplay at the Rhode Island International Film Festival in August 2009, as well as playing in competition at the major festivals Palm Springs, The Bahamas and Aspen. The film is being supported by the British Council to represent the UK in its International Festival Scheme.
