BEHOLD THE MONKEY
Nominated for a Broadcast Award for Best Scripted Programme in 2016, BEHOLD THE MONKEY is a modern fairytale based on the true story of an elderly Spanish cleaner's infamous attempt to restore a fresco. The show was shot in Mallorca in Spanish, narrated by Tamsin Greig.
Commissioned by Sky Arts for the Failure Season, it was transmitted as the opening episode. Pick of the Week in the Sunday Times and pick of the day in numerous national papers.
‘BEHOLD THE MONKEY’ was shot by long-time collaborator Ed Wild. It was written and produced by Adam Morane-Griffiths and Joe Hill, and directed by Adam Wimpenny.
